I did it!

Well I did it, I completed the challenge writing 50,000 words with 7 days left. I'm still working on my story, getting closer to the last two words - The End. Apparently, January and February are revision/editing months after the November writing challenge.

I'm not finished with Luke and Abbey's story yet, so I'm pressing on. I want to finish over the next couple of weeks so I can begin editing and get my story submitted to some e-publishers early in 2018.

My Thanksgiving morning...

I received a Thanksgiving note from the NaNoWriMo folks this morning. I learned a little about the organization that I didn't know before. I'm not sure what happens after November 30th at NaNoWriMo, but I want to continue with the goal of writing at least 1667 words a day when I'm not revising/editing a story.

Although Mr. Voss and I will be heading out a little later, he's sleeping at the moment.

What am I doing, you may be wondering? I just finished writing a sex scene (oral counts) between Abbey and Luke, the main characters in On the Ropes, while they're in a limo heading to a hotel.

Yup, that's my Thanksgiving morning so far. I have to take my writing time whenever and wherever I can get it.

When I began this journey, I wasn't sure if I would be able to complete the challenge. Now I'm almost there and I'm so proud of what I've accomplished so far. My draft will be over 50,000 words and that's fine with me. I wasn't sure what to expect since this is the first time I'm putting my thoughts down on paper (MS Word). I'm hopeful this will be the first of many stories I share with all of you.
