Happy Veteran's Day to all who served and who are now serving. We will never forget. As you may know, Mr. Voss is a navy submarine veteran. We'll be spending some time today visiting some of the restaurants that are generously offering veterans a free meal. I'm not sure how my word count for the day will end up, but I'll do my best.  As of yesterday, I've written just over 10,000 words the first draft of On the Ropes. The NaNoWriMo folks sent me a congratulatory note. That was fun and unexpected. I'm well into Chapter 3 now. Yesterday I just made the daily word count with 1692 words. I knew the weekends were going to be challenging. During the work week I tend to stay pretty close to home since I'm a full time IT teleworker. On the weekends though, Mr. Voss and I like to go out and about - see movies, grab a bite to eat, attend concerts or other fun events. Getting the words written is a lot more difficult. I'll have to see how I can manage my weekend writing a little better moving forward.  |
