 Happy Wednesday to everyone. I hope you're all having a wonderful day. It's bright and sunny here in Chicago. We survived some very hot days, thank goodness. It seems like we went from winter weather right to scorching hot temperatures.
It's taking me a little while to get motivated and get my outline together for Tommy and Karla's story, I apologize for that. But I will. I have ideas on how I want their story to unfold. And the story after that - Carlo Antonetti and his love interest, she was introduced in On the Ropes. Don't forget, Smashwords has their big July sale going on right now. Hannah's Bliss by Dania Voss is a sizzling romance that just had me interested and invested from the moment I read the blurb. There is something about a novel where the chemistry between the two protagonists is just off the charts and they evoked such strong emotions in me. Nothing was forced in this novel, not the plot, not the character development and not the flow of the story. The characters were given ample time and page space to grow as individuals and as a couple. I loved the fact that their pairing was not an instant love kind of pairing and the author made sure that both Hannah and Rocco were trying and testing the waters before they jumped in. Out of these two characters, Rocco was my favorite because he was the most rounded. While Hannah had her own struggles and hurdles to overcome, Rocco had my heart from the very beginning. He was humble yet confident, sassy, and the fact that he was a Marine added to his appeal. This was a very exciting romance, one that I will revisit again very soon.
