I'm going to expand this story, rename it and start a new series with it. I'll be seeking a new publisher for it as well. I'm very excited to bring readers a new sweet series.
I've submitted All Roads Lead to Shepherd Grove to the Writers on the River anthology coordinator. The digital anthology will be available for pre-order in May or June. The print book will only be available at the conference so all the more reason to attend! For details please visit Writers on the River. I'll keep you posted as more details become available.

All three books in the Windy City Nights series received silver badges from Author Shout
as Recommended Reads! If you haven't picked up your copies yet, they're available at Amazon and all major online retailers. https://www.amazon.com/author/daniavoss Happy Sunday to all of you. I'm feeling pretty amazing if I don't say so. Yesterday I typed those two favorite words of every author - The End. I completed my anthology short story. I came in just under the required 10,000 words. I find it very difficult to write a short story. I want to include everything! But since the theme was second chances, Missy and Noah knew each other. That made the story line a bit easier. So now I'm off to edit and for the first time, I'm going send a story to a professional editor before sending it to the anthology coordinator. I'm most excited about my plans for this story though. I'm going to add to it, change the title and this short story will end up as a novella, probably between 20,000 - 30,000 words and will kick off a new sweet, small town romance series. I'm thinking all the stories in this new series will be novellas of about that same length. I want the covers and titles to coordinate as well. And yes, I'm going to shop for a new publisher for this series. My Windy City Nights series will stay with Evernight Publishing as long as they'll have me. |
