I submitted my manuscript for On the Ropes to my first choice
e-publisher this morning!! It can take up to 12 weeks for a decision, but that's all right.
To the outside world, Luke “Strike ‘em Out” Stryker has it all. He’s the star pitcher for the Chicago Cobras, won 4 World Series Championship rings, is rich, gorgeous and is dating one of the most successful A-list actresses in the world. But appearances can be deceiving.
On the Ropes, takes place in the Chicago Metropolitan area – Elmhurst and Oak Brook Illinois, during the weekend Luke’s best friend Jake is getting married. Luke has two missions for the weekend. The first is as Jake’s best man. The second and most important mission is to get his first and only love Abbey, the bride’s younger sister, back. Luke and Abbey haven’t seen each other for ten years since a horrible misunderstanding broke them up. Abbey is still angry at Luke and is not receptive to the idea of a reconciliation. Luke will not take no for an answer.
I'm going to start the next story in the series. I decided on the Marine and his best friend's sister - Heath and Leah from On the Ropes.
