I've finished editing On the Ropes! I had some technical difficulties with the editing tools I used, but I finally got everything reformatted and edited. I feel like I gave birth!
Editing and revising wasn't easy, but I ended up with 1000 fewer words, ending at just over 74,000 according to MS Word.
My e-publisher of choice requires a query letter and 1 page synopsis with the manuscript for each submission so I still have to prepare those two documents. I'm on track to get On the Ropes submitted in early January 2018. Then the the wait begins. According to the publisher, it can take up to 12 weeks for a decision.
Rather than freak out while waiting, which I'll probably do anyway, I'll start the next story in the Envied Rapture - Windy City Nights series. Leah and Heath are battling it out with Rocco and Hannah in my head for who's up next.
