Before the snow began to really fall heavily, Mr. Voss and I were tearing up the town. Mr. Voss was a US Navy Submariner from 1983 - 1988. As you know, women weren't allowed on submarines but I dragged him to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago to see the U-505 exhibit. The U-505 was a German World War II captured submarine. We got a guided tour, met up with some of his buddies from his Submarine Veteran's group and I wanted to share a few pictures of that experience with you.
Later in the afternoon we attended the 25th Anniversary tour of the Professional Bull Riders in Rosemont, IL. One of the characters in the Texas branch of my series, was a professional bull rider, a champion, so I wanted to share a glimpse with you of what it's like.
