I wanted to give you all a quick update on Off the Hook. I've written over 3200 words and am well into the 2nd chapter.
So far I'm keeping to the planned word count goals to keep it a short story/novella. It will be under 20,000 words and 8 chapters. It's been a challenge, but I'm trying hard.
Another challenge is that the characters are young adults between eighteen and twenty two years old. So far, I've written adults much older than that. How they speak and think is rather different than what I've written so far.
And let's not forget, Abbey's a virgin so the first love scene will be a challenge too!
