I contacted Evernight this morning to see about edits for On the Ropes. It's been a month since Evernight accepted the story and I want to do my part to ensure it's released in April. I was told it's been assigned to an editor and I should be receiving the edits soon.
I'm excited and nervous. I have no idea what to expect. I submitted a 74,000+ word novel! I hope there won't be too much editing needed - even so, I want the story to be as good as possible, so I'll do what I need to do to make it so.
Meanwhile, it's been slow going but I'm almost finished with Chapter 4 of The Warrior's Whisper and I'm at 15,390 words as of this post.
